Why We Built FitKind
We've always believed movement is one of the most powerful ways we care for ourselves. So we interviewed over 100 people about fitness to understand how they stay active.
We thought we'd hear about routines and motivation.
Instead, we kept hearing about how alienating fitness feels.
One person told us they go to the gym at midnight so no one sees them. Another said they don't skip their workouts because they're tired—they're emotionally drained. Someone else shared that feeling like a beginner is the reason they don't come back.
That is when it clicked: "Why does something meant to care for our bodies feel like an evaluation system?"
We couldn't ignore it.
So we asked a different question: "What would movement look like if it wasn't built around being watched, measured, or compared?"
FitKind is our answer.
And now, it's yours too.
